Alberto Costa MP has welcomed his Parliamentary colleague and Chairman of the Conservative Party, the Rt. Hon Brandon Lewis MP, to his South Leicestershire constituency.
Mr Lewis, who was appointed as the Conservative Party’s Chairman during the ministerial reshuffle in January earlier this year, attended an event organised by the South Leicestershire Association in Ullesthorpe, where he met association supporters and discussed a range of local and national matters.
Alberto, who organised the event, said, “I was delighted to welcome our Party Chairman to South Leicestershire to meet the members of my brilliant association. This event was an excellent opportunity for party members and supporters to come together in order to discuss all things Conservative with the person at the very top of the party”.
Alberto concluded, “I am very grateful to Brandon for taking the time out of his busy schedule to see us here in South Leicestershire and for taking the time to address members of my association. It’s hugely important that local party members, especially at a grassroots level, are able to have that excellent connection with those involved in running the party, to have their voices heard and to help shape the future of the Conservative Party moving forward”.
