Alberto welcomed the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to South Leicestershire today. The Prime minister visited national retailer Topps Tiles which has its head office in Enderby, Leicestershire.
In the latest of his 'PM Connect' events, Mr Sunak met with members of staff from Topps Tiles before taking questions from an audience made up of Topps Tiles staff and attendees from the local area. This was followed by a meeting with South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa.
During his meeting with the Prime Minister, South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa chatted about the constituency and its needs.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said: “It’s been great to be here in South Leicestershire today with local MP Alberto Costa, as we make progress with the first of my five priorities- to tackle inflation and help working families with the cost of living.”
Alberto said: "It's wonderful to have the Prime Minister in South Leicestershire. It's great to see him speaking to constituents of South Leicestershire and visiting a valued local business. Topps Tiles is celebrating its 60th birthday this year and what a great way to mark the occasion."
