On Friday 8th January, Conservative Member of Parliament for South Leicestershire, Alberto Costa, was invited to visit the BBC East Midlands television studio in Nottingham in order to film BBC East Midlands Sunday Politics, due to be broadcast Sunday 10th January on BBC East Midlands at 11am.
Alberto, along with guests, Alan Rhodes, Labour leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, Kat Boettge, Green Party Co-Ordinator - East Midlands, and Claire Walters, Chief Executive of Bus Users UK. The panel discussed three regional issues; East Midlands employment, fracking and regional bus services.
Mr Costa said, “It was a pleasure to appear on BBC East Midlands Sunday Politics and also to visit the BBC East Midlands studio in Nottingham. I enjoyed the lively debate with the other guests and look forward to appearing again in the future”.
