On Wednesday 2nd December 2015, Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire attended a parliamentary reception organised by Parkinson’s UK.
MPs and other guests in attendance took part in discussions centred on how to work together to improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.
Mr Costa said “I would like to thank Parkinson’s UK for visiting parliament and sharing details of their five year strategy. I was particularly encouraged to see such a strong attendance from a range of stakeholders, all of whom are required to support effective delivery of the strategy and the key priorities identified”.
The three key priorities are:
• Access to high quality services
• To be able to take control of their lives and
• A cure and better treatments
