On Tuesday 22nd December, MP for South Leicestershire, Alberto Costa, met with the local Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner Candidate, Neil Bannister.
Alberto and Neil met to discuss a range of local issues and Neil’s plans for the wider Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland policing area.
Mr Costa said
“it was interesting to hear more of Neil’s plans for the area and in particular, for South Leicestershire. Due to the mix of rural and built up areas with my constituency, it is important to ensure a comprehensive approach and it was encouraging to hear further details of this as part of Neil’s campaign plan”.
Mr Bannister said
“it was a thoroughly useful meeting to discuss South Leicestershire and the wider area. During the course of the campaign, I will be engaging with as many residents and stakeholders as possible across the City and County, to ensure an effective joint-up plan across all partners to reducing crime and support the victims of crime”.
