On Thursday 7th January, Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire, met with a group of students from Brockington College, during their visit to the Parliamentary Education Service.
The visiting students were provided a tour of the Palace of Westminster, information on Parliamentary functions as well as the opportunity to ask questions to their MP.
Mr Costa said “I was delighted to meet the students, who informed me they thoroughly enjoyed their trip. The relatively new Education Service in Parliament is an excellent addition and I would strongly encourage all schools and colleges to take advantage of this offer, which also includes financial support with transportation. The questions they asked were both topical and interesting, which was most encouraging and I’d liketo thank the college and their teachers for organising their visit”.
