On Thursday 9th June, South Leicestershire MP, Alberto Costa, attended a networking event in Lutterworth in order to meet with representatives and leaders from local businesses in and around the South of the county.
Organised by OD Projects, InTandem Consulting and Harborough District Council the event was held at the Camis Lounge in Lutterworth Town Centre and was attended by over 30 businessmen and women from South Leicestershire.
Alberto said, “It was a real pleasure to be invited to the Lutterworth Networking event and I enjoyed meeting the hardworking businessmen and women of South Leicestershire. Events such as this are a great way of bringing businesspeople together in order to foster and strengthen ties which can only mean better things for the local economy”.
Ruth Hague from InTandem Consulting, said, “Lutterworth Networking is a relatively new event held for businesses in and around the town to share ideas and do business together. Having Alberto Costa attending has given businesses a great opportunity to share their concerns and thoughts with their local MP.”
Alberto concluded, “Local businesses, small and large, are of course, imperative to a strong economy both locally and nationally and these kind of events really give businesses the opportunity to thrive. I’ve heard from a lot of business owners and representatives this evening and I will look forward to working closely with many of them in the future”.
