On Tuesday 5th July, MP for South Leicestershire, Alberto Costa, met with students from Lutterworth High School, during their visit to the Education Centre in the Houses of Parliament.
As part of the visit, the students took place in a debate as well as a tour across the Parliamentary estate. After this, the students were joined by Mr Costa and took part in a question and answer session.
Mr Costa said “it was great to see so many students from Lutterworth High visit Parliament and take advantage of the excellent facilities at the education centre.
During the question and answer session, they asked a number of very relevant and topical questions, including the EU referendum as well as the Conservative Leadership election. We also discussed a visit to the school, where I would Chair a debate amongst students which I am very much looking forward to.”
